Birgit Gebhardt is one of Germany’s most respected trend researchers and futurists, specializing in the evolving world of work and living. As former managing director of Hamburg’s Trendbüro, she has over a decade of experience analyzing social change and its practical implications.
With a background in interior design and strategic trend research, Birgit has advised major brands including Audi, Procter & Gamble, and Stilwerk. She has guided companies and institutions toward New Work cultures, helping them to design future‑ready workspaces and organizational practices.
She’s also a published author—most notably of 2037 – Our Everyday Life in the Future—and key contributor to IBA’s influential “New Work Order” studies, addressing how offices must evolve for hybrid and human‑centred working environments .
