Prof. Dr. Dr. Stefan Brunnhuber is a rare polymath whose career bridges psychiatry, economics, sociology, sustainability, and spirituality. He serves as Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer at the Diakonie Clinics for Integrative Psychiatry in Germany and holds an endowed Chair in Psychology & Sustainability at Mittweida University. As a dual specialist in psychiatry/psychosomatics with doctorates in medicine and socioeconomic sciences, he has written over 500 scientific publications and numerous books.
He is a member of the Club of Rome, trustee of the World Academy of Art & Science, former senator of the European Academy of Sciences & Arts, a long-standing scientific advisor to the EU, WHO, and UN, and holds multiple visiting professorships at global academic institutions. His education included medical school in Ulm, PhDs in psychiatry and sociology, and further qualifications across sociology, psychology, and finance.
