David Hablützel is a Swiss bee inspector and hornet expert who has redefined insect management through ethical relocation, technology, and public engagement. Founder of Imkerei Hablützel, he specializes in relocating bees, wasps, and hornets without extermination, advocating for coexistence rather than control.
He combines field expertise with innovation, having developed an AI-powered hornet detection tool and a GPS-based nest tracking system. His platforms are used by schools, municipalities, and citizen scientists to monitor invasive species like the Asian hornet.
A passionate speaker with over 100 engagements, David educates diverse audiences, from classrooms to local authorities, using real nests, livestreams, and hands-on demonstrations. His mission: shift public perception from fear to understanding, and inspire collective action for pollinator protection in a time of ecological urgency.
