Dr Nasser Saidi is a globally recognized economist, strategist and public intellectual whose career has spanned academia, finance, government, and global policy advisory. He is the founder and President of Nasser Saidi & Associates, a leading MENA-based consultancy, and has held senior roles such as Minister of Economy and Trade and Minister of Industry of Lebanon, First Vice-Governor of Lebanon’s Central Bank, and Chief Economist and Head of External Relations at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
He has worked with global organizations including the UN, IMF, World Bank, OECD, and GCC governments, and is a sought-after keynote speaker for high-level forums. He is also the Chairman of the Clean Energy Business Council, which he founded long before sustainability became a mainstream agenda in the region.
